1. Based on my reflections, my physical well-being isn't really great. I would say it would only be about 4 on a scale of 1-10. I can sadly say that I am about 50 pounds overweight. Because of the excessive weight, I have back, leg and knee pains. I get tired from everyday activities that should be done with ease. My spiritual well-being is about a five. I do believe that spirituality plays a big and important part of my life. My psychological well-being is about an eight. I think I am very strong in this area. I try and get my mental self stable and stress-free.
2.The goal that I will develop for my physical well-being is to start exercising daily to lose weight and to increase my mobility. I would like to start going to a bible study class once a week and to start daily meditation. My goal for my psychological well-being is to try and stay stress free and just take some time for myself to just relax and explore my inner me.
3. Exercising and meditation.
4. It was very frustrating for me to do that relaxation exercise. I have a very bad cold, I was tired so it really frustrated me.
Hi Kimberly,
ReplyDeleteWell, that is good news that you are strong in the psychological aspect for well-being. I think that means if you put your mind to it, you will be able to do anything. The one thing that I always tell my friends and other people, is to make small changes at first to lose weight. For example, it is very hard to just stop eating one particular food that is fattening. What I suggest, is to slowly reduce the item over time until you are able to exclude it from your diet. The same goes for exercise, it is very difficult to just hit the gym five days a week and continue that forever. I suggest start with some ten to fifteen minute walks and gradually increase the time and frequency. Then you can move into more intensity when you are feeling up to it. I hope you are able to reach your goals. :)
